Hundreds Of Western PA Voters Might Be Lacking Their Mail-In Ballots

Here's what to do if you didn't receive your mail-in ballot.

UNIONTOWN, PA — About 300 voters in Fayette County who requested a mail-in ballot for Tuesday's General Election might not have had their ballots successfully mailed.

The Fayette County Elections Bureau on Friday said the problem might be due to an issue with ballot mailing labels generated by the state's SURE voter registration.

"We want every eligible voter to vote next Tuesday," Fayette County Election Director Marybeth Kuznik said in a statement. "The Election Bureau is doing everything we can to get the message out that we will replace the ballot of any voter who requested one and did not receive it."

Those who requested a mail-in or absentee ballot and didn't receive it should contact the elections bureau as soon as possible. The bureau is working to contact impacted voters and will replace ballots for anyone who requested but did not receive one.

Those seeking to obtain a replacement ballot can visit the bureau at 2 West Main Street in Uniontown 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7 a.m.-8 p.m. on Election Day.

Those who didn't receive their mail-in ballot can vote in person by provisional ballot on Election Day.

All completed mail-in and absentee ballots must be received by the bureau by 8 p.m. on Election Day. Having a ballot postmarked by then is insufficient.
