PITTSBURGH, PA — Someone is sitting on an unclaimed Pennsylvania Lottery ticket sold in the Pittsburgh area that is worth $770,000 and will expire soon.
Lottery officials said the unclaimed $770,000 jackpot-winning Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket was sold at the Giant Eagle on Butler Plank Road in Shaler for the Dec. 21, 2025 drawing. The ticket matched all five balls drawn, 11-20-31-36-38, to win the $770,000 jackpot.
A prize claim must be filed with the lottery, either by mail or at a lottery area office, by Dec. 21.
The lottery announced two other unclaimed jackpot winning tickets. A $1 million winning ticket sold in Lycoming County will expire on Jan. 3; a $200,000 ticket sold in Dauphin County expires on Dec. 15.
By law, unclaimed, expired lottery prizes remain in the Lottery Fund and are used to support programs benefiting older Pennsylvanians. Although some lotteries give players only 90 or 180 days to claim a prize, Pennsylvania Lottery Draw Game prizes may be claimed up to one year from the drawing date.
