PITTSBURGH, PA - A contrite Antonio Brown appeared on a Pittsburgh radio station Thursday professing to miss the city and seemingly suggesting he wants to return to the Steelers - the team he forced a trade from last year.

"I miss the 'Burgh, man," he said during an interview on sports talk station 93.7 FM The Fan. "Hopefully I can come back and get it going."

The erratic and mercurial Brown, currently facing a felony burglary and battery and other charges stemming from an altercation outside his Florida home last month, apologized to the Steelers organization for the distractions he caused that led to his exit from the team.

“I’m forever grateful and indebted to the Steelers organization, Mr. Rooney, Mike Tomlin, Kevin Colbert, Ben Roethlisberger, " he said. "I started my career with those guys, a lot of beautiful moments, a lot of positive things, so it’s not all bad."

Brown also expressed affection for Roethlisberger, who he repeatedly has trashed on social media since leaving the Steelers.

"Do I hate Ben? No. Do I love Ben? Yes," Brown said. "Ben’s a great guy, great person, great quarterback. All the disappointment and frustration we had should’ve been hashed out but when ego and emotion get involved, a lot of stuff goes different ways."
