Bengals 37, Steelers 30: Reaction To Another Disappointing Loss
The Steelers led the Cincinnati Bengals at the end of the first half. Then, predictably, the offense fizzled yet again.

PITTSBURGH, PA — On a cold and windy evening at Acrisure Stadium, the Steelers once again came up short to a better team. Here's what sports writers across the country think about the loss:
- Brooke Pryor, ESPN: "After halftime, the Steelers (offense) sputtered and didn't record a first down until early in the fourth quarter. Quarterback Kenny Pickett had several bad misses, errors compounded by questionable play calls like a failed flea-flicker after a 33-yard completion to George Pickens."
- Nick Shook, NFL.com: "T.J. Watt is a monster, but wasn't frightening enough to beat the Bengals. Watt's production isn't obliterating the stat column, but since his return (from injury), he's found ways to impact the game. Watt finished with a half-sack Sunday to go along with six tackles."
- Bryan DeArdo, CBS Sports: "Pittsburgh stood toe to toe with Cincinnati for 30 minutes before giving way to a superior team that is fighting to defend its AFC title. It was a loss on the scoreboard, but the game should serve as valuable growth for Pickett and many of his younger teammates who hope to end up on the right side of future games like this one."
- Joe Rivera, Sporting News: "This is how the 2023 draft order stands:
1. Houston Texans (1-8-1).
2. Carolina Panthers (3-8).
