Police recovered a body from the Allegheny River on Wednesday afternoon near the 10th Street Bypass, local media report.

PITTSBURGH — Police recovered a body from the Allegheny River on Wednesday afternoon near the 10th Street Bypass, local media report.

A passerby spotted the body around noon and called police, according to WTAE. Police River Rescue teams found the body face-down in the water, the news station reported.

Police have not released any identifying information, according to TribLive. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's Office will release more information, the outlet said.
