Clown Attack Near Pittsburgh Injures Boy

PITTSBURGH, PA - Pennsylvania State Police are searching for a person who wore a clown mask while attacking a boy in Karns City, Butler County, about an hour north of Pittsburgh.

The boy was treated at an area hospital after the clown-masked suspect struck him in the knee with a baseball bat, the Butler Eagle reported. The incident occurred Saturday morning.

The unidentified victim told police he was on a wooded hillside when he heard a woman screaming. The assailant emerged from the woods, hit him in the kneecap and returned to the woods.

State police say the investigation into the clown attack is continuing.
