PITTSBURGH, PA — CNN's Jake Tapper says he made a bet with Pennsylvania Lt. Gov. John Fetterman on the outcome of Sunday's game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Philadelphia Eagles. In doing so, the Philadelphia native wasn't kind to Pittsburgh.

Things started innocently enough, with Tapper tweeting a picture of himself wearing an Eagles mask.

That drew a response from Fetterman, the former mayor of Braddock, a town just east of Pittsburgh.

A bet was then proposed.

After Fetterman tweeted that Tapper wouldn't dare bet on the game, the newsman got in a dig at Pittsburgh.

Tapper's diss drew the attention of Dallas Mavericks owner and Pittsburgh native Mark Cuban.

Tapper then announced the bet.

Tapper's remarks drew the ire of Pittsburghers who came to the city's defense.

That one apparently got under Tapper's skin as he reminded Fratto that the Eagles have won the Super Bowl more recently than the Steelers.

Who will win the bet won't be known until Sunday. But the Steelers, playing at home at Heinz Field, are seven-point favorites, according to oddsshark.com.
