PITTSBURGH, PA - It's the nation's premier free arts festival, one that draws nearly 500,000
visitors annually for its world-class, multi-disciplinary performing and visual arts attractions. It also usually attracts severe storms and torrential downpours, but perhaps this year will be different.
The 60th Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival begins June 7, in Gateway Center, Point State Park and the Downtown Cultural District.
There's almost too much to see and do in the festival's 10 days. Here's how to successfully navigate the event:

What are the festival hours?

The festival is open from 12 p.m. to 8 pm each day. However, every attraction has its own operating hours, so if there is a particular event or exhibition that you’d like to see, check the schedule.
Are tickets needed for any festival event?
Where are the restrooms?
Portable restrooms are located in Point State Park on the fountain-side of the portal bridge. Most Cultural District galleries also provide indoor facilities. Accessible facilities are available in all restroom locations.
What happens if you lose something while at the festival?
If you’re on-site, visit an Info Hub in Point State Park or Gateway Center. If you’re off-site, email FestivalOperations@TrustArts.org or call 412-456-6666 with a description of the item you lost and trust employees will try to reconnect you to it.
Are pets allowed at the festival?
Dogs on leashes are permitted in Point State Park. Owners must pick up after their pets.
The Festival has large crowds of people, many children, loud noises and other dogs. Patrons are advised only to bring animals that can be well-behaved in this environment. On-site police officers have the final say on public safety and may ask owners of unruly dogs to leave. Dogs
are not permitted in the Artist Market at Gateway Center due to the tight space and fragile artwork. Dogs are not permitted at indoor venues.
Guide animals are welcome at all festival venues.
What kind of food is served?
Typical Festival fare, ranging from funnel cake and lemonade to tabbouleh and lobster burgers, can be found at the food court in Point State Park. The festival also has Food Truck Fridays, which broadens the menu with local favorites.
Is alcohol available?
Point State Park is a Pennsylvania state park and no alcoholic beverage are permitted in it. The
Cultural District boasts a wide variety of restaurants and bars.
All festival events are rain or shine unless otherwise noted. The festival shuts down only when the weather presents a safetyhazard to patrons, artists, and staff. In the event of a change in
schedule a media alert will be issued along with postings to the festival's website, Facebook, and Twitter pages.
