First Pittsburgh Honeygrow Restaurant Opening Next Week

The fast-casual eatery will debut in East Liberty on Sept. 8

PITTSBURGH, PA - Honeygrow, a Philadelphia-based restaurant chain featuring customizable stir-frys, salads, honeybars and cold pressed juices, will open its first Pittsburgh location next week in East Liberty.

The Honeygrow location at 105 South Highland Avenue will open September 8, according to the restaurant’s web site.

The fast-casual eatery will offer dishes such as spicy garlic, sour cherry barbecue and sesame garlic stir fry and salads such as white bean tuna, vegan kale and cobb. It also will have a honeybar in which people can create their own snack or dessert using fresh fruit, a garnish and a local honey or maple syrup.

Since its inception in 2012, Honeygrow has opened locations in cities such as New York, Chicago, Baltimore and Washington, D.C.
