Find out here where the veteran weather forecaster is headed.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Eighteen months after his abrupt departure from KDKA-TV, meteorologist Jeff Verszyla is returning to the local airwaves. Verszyla announced on Facebook that he will be doing fill-in work for WTAE beginning this weekend.
"I have been given an opportunity by the fine folks at WTAE Action Weather starting this Sunday," he said in the Facebook video.
That will mark Verszyla's first time on local TV since his unexpected firing from KDKA in December 2018 after nearly a quarter of a century at the station. Since then, he has kept a prominent presence on social media.
