McDonald's, Penguins Team For Charitable Promotion

These snazzy-looking cup sleeves will help make a difference in the lives of seriously ill children.

PITTSBURGH, PA — McDonald's restaurants in the tri-state area and the Pittsburgh Penguins have paired to create a limited-edition souvenir to support a Pittsburgh-area charity.

Local McDonald's will be selling co-branded cold soft drink insulated sleeves through the My McDonald's Rewards app for $6 while supplies last.

A portion of the proceeds will benefit local Ronald McDonald House Charities chapters.

The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Pittsburgh and Morgantown provides families with a home-away-from-home for seriously ill children receiving medical treatment. Its mission statement said the charity is committed to helping children and their families lead happier, healthier and more productive lives.
