PITTSBURGH, PA — Fat Cat restaurant and bar has opened in the city's North Side on East Ohio Street.
"Inspired by after-school and late night snacks, we offer a from-scratch playful take on classic favorites," the restaurant's website states. "With eclectic, eye-catching decor and cozy seating reminiscent of your grandma’s house, we offer the perfect pace to hang out from lunch to last call."
The restaurant owner is Cory Hughes, who has worked at establishments such as Café at the Frick, Spoon, Eleven, Six Penn, Google, Steelers training camp and Farmaid. s

The menu includes appetizers such as fried brussels sprouts, loaded waffle fries and large onion rings. Other menu items include a patty melt, bologna sandwich and birrria crunch wrap.
