Penguins-Devils Game At PPG Paints Arena Postponed
COVID-19 issues prompted the postponement of Tuesday's game, the National Hockey League said Monday.

PITTSBURGH, PA — COVID-19 issues have forced the postponement of Tuesday's game between the Penguins and New Jersey Devils, the National Hockey League announced Monday.
A make-up date for the game has yet to be established. New Jersey's game on Thursday against the Montreal Canadiens has been previously postponed.
The cancellation is disappointing news for the red-hot Penguins, who defeated the Devils on Sunday to extend their winning streak to seven games. COVID-19 issues, however, continue to plague the league.

“We will continue to play the 2021-22 regular season schedule,” the NHL and the NHL Players Association said Sunday in a joint statement. “Although there has been recent increase in positive COVID test results among players, coaches and hockey staff, there have been a low number of positive cases that have resulted in concerning symptoms or serious illness.”
The Pens are still slated to play the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday.
