Pirates To Be Historically Bad In 2020, USA Today Predicts
USA Today believes the Bucs will be dreadful this season.

PITTSBURGH, PA - If you thought the Pirates were terrible in 2019, just wait. USA Today, in projecting 2020 win totals for every Major League franchise, is forecasting the team will be significantly worse this season.
After finishing with a 62-93 record last year, the Pirates should end 2020 with a 60-102 record, according to USA Today. That the lowest win projection of any National League team and the third-lowest overall following predicted finishes of 54-108 for the Detroit Tigers and 57-105 for the Baltimore Orioles.
USA Today predicts the Bucs will finish last in the National League Central behind the St. Louis Cardinals, Cincinnati Red, Milwaukee Brewers and Chicago Cubs.

If the forecast is accurate, it would mark only the eighth time since the Pittsburgh Alleghenys became the Pirates in 1891 that the team has topped 100 losses and only the third time this century. The last time was in 2010.
"The Pirates might have made all the right moves in rebooting their baseball operations, but this may be their worst team since losing 105 games in 2010," USA Today concluded.
