Pittsburgh-Area HS Football Game Canceled Due To Coronavirus
A Pittsburgh area high school football player has tested positive for the coronavirus.
MONROEVILLE, PA — Tonight's football game between Gateway and Pine-Richland high schools has been canceled after a Gateway player tested positive for the coronavirus, according to multiple reports.
The non-conference game is not expected to be rescheduled.
Because there have been two Gateway students who have tested positive for the coronavirus within 14 days, the high school will transition to remote-only learning for the next five school days.
