Pittsburgh Area Sam's Clubs To Offer Coronavirus Vaccine
Find out here when the vaccine will be available.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Five Pittsburgh-area Sam's Club locations will begin offering the coronavirus vaccine late next week. The vaccine will be available in stores in Monroeville, West Mifflin, Washington, Hempfield and Tarentum.
"Once our locations have received the vaccines, eligible customers and members can reserve a convenient vaccine appointment directly via a scheduling tool on the Walmart and Sam’s Club websites, while allocations last," a release from Walmart, which owns the chain, stated.
"In addition to appointments, the scheduler will provide a digital reminder when it’s time to return for the second dose of the vaccine in order for the vaccine to be fully effective."

Eligibility for the vaccines will be determined by current Pennsylvania Department of Health guidelines. Currently, the state is in Phase 1A of the vaccination program, which limits vaccines to health care professionals, those 65 and older and people 16 and older who have high-risk medical conditions.
According to the state health department, as of Feb. 2, slightly over one million doses of the vaccine have been administered to 850,819 people. Two doses of the vaccine are required to be fully inoculated.
