Pittsburgh Concert Scene To Bounce Back In 2021's Second Half
Here's a Patch look at the live music events scheduled for Pittsburgh over the next six months.
PITTSBURGH, PA — People passionate about attending live performances by their favorite artists undoubtedly were frustrated during the last 15 months, as the coronavirus outbreak forced concert cancellations galore.
But with a majority of Pennsylvanians having received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine and the state mask mandate having been lifted, live music is poised to make a comeback in during the second half of 2021.
Local concert venues aren't nearly as busy as they typically would be during the summer and fall, but many artists postponed their tours until 2022 because of uncertainty over when they would be permitted to perform. Still, some fairly famous folks will pass through town.
