Pittsburgh, Kansas City Mayors Wager On Steelers-Chiefs Game
Pittsburgh Mayor Ed Gainey and Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas have made a friendly bet on the Steelers-Chiefs playoff game Sunday.
PITTSBURGH, PA — Mayor Ed Gainey usually wears a suit, but he donned a Steelers jersey Friday to announce a wager with Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas on the outcome of the Steelers-Chiefs playoff game on Sunday.
Gainey posted a video on Twitter detailing the bet.
“The mayor of Kansas City and I have said this is how we can make it interesting," Gainey said. "If Kansas City wins, I got to put on a Kansas City jersey and we have to ship Showcase Barbeque to 50 frontline workers in Kansas City.”

“They have to ship some Kansas City barbecue to our frontline workers and put on this beautiful, beautiful black and gold!" Gainey said emphatically.
