PNC Park Rated One Of Nation's Best Vegan-Friendly Ballparks

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals likes PNC Park's vegan options.

PITTSBURGH, PA - PNC Park has been named the nation’s fourth-best vegan-friendly ballpark by the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. The ballpark ranked behind only Target Field in Minneapolis, Globe Life Park in Arlington, TX and Progressive Field in Cleveland in serving vegan-friendly fare.

"From the Ultimate Vegan Burger to the spicy Buffalo cauliflower wings, the Pittsburgh Pirates are knocking it out of the park with delicious animal-friendly stadium snacks," PETA executive vice president Tracy Reiman said in a statement. "All the compassionate ballparks on PETA's list are proving that vegan eating is as American as baseball and apple pie."

The PETA ranking comes as the Pirates prepare for the team’s second annual Vegan Night at PNC Park June 15. Each $45 ticket includes access to the exclusive Vegan Menu in the Picnic Park from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. and a corner box seat for the Pirates-Reds game.
