Regent Square Theater, Harris Theater Closing
The Pittsburgh Center for Arts and Media announced the moves Monday.

PITTSBURGH, PA - The Pittsburgh Center for Arts and Media is closing the Regent Square Theater in Regent Square, ending its screenings at the Harris Theater, Downtown and end operations in the Marshall Mansion, which the city has leased to the organization since the 1940s,
The moves were made for financial reasons, the center announced in a statement.
The center said that chief administrative officer Dorinda Sankey is leaving and that other employees have been offered severance packages, although it is unclear how many are losing their jobs.

The Regent Square Theater will remain closed "while we determine the future of that asset," the release stated. The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust owns the Harris Theater, which is expected to reopen at some point.
