Steelers-Colts NFL Week 16: What You Need To Know

Can the Steelers end their stupefying three-game skid against Indianapolis?

PITTSBURGH, PA — Pretty much all you need to know about this week's Steelers game is what you already know: The Steelers need a win. Badly.

After an 11-0 start, the team has lost three in a row - including that humiliating loss on Monday night to the Cincinnati Bengals, who brought a lofty 2-10-1 record into the game and thoroughly whipped the Steelers in all phases of the game.

Lose to the Colts, who bring a more impressive 10-4 record into Pittsburgh on Sunday, and the situation will get uncomfortably interesting for the Steelers. Their inexcusable loss to the Bengals leaves them a mere game ahead of the Cleveland Browns in the AFC North, and the Browns play the 1-12 New York Jets this week.

A Browns win and Steelers loss this weeks sets up a winner-take-all game between the teams in next week's season finale in Cleveland. As poorly as the Steelers have played recently, they certainly don't want that.
