Steelers Heyward: 'We're All In This Together, Pittsburgh'
The Steelers defensive star pens a heartfelt letter to his hometown.

PITTSBURGH, PA - Steelers star defensive lineman Cam Heyward offered words of encouragement to stir-crazy Pittsburghers Thursday who are tired of isolating because of the coronavirus outbreak.
"It’s not easy, and it’s definitely not fun, but social distancing works," Heyward wrote in "A Letter to Pittsburgh," published in The Player's Tribune. The online publication features content written by professional athletes.
"I know you’ve heard about keeping your distance to the point of it getting annoying, but there’s a
good reason why. Our discipline in locking down right now will save a ton of lives in the near future."

Heyward urged people to spend their time checking on older parents and grandparent; reminding them of the need to stay home for the time being; and to donate, if you are able, to The Pittsburgh Foundation's Emergency Action Fund.
"We’re all in this together, Pittsburgh. Let’s hunker down. Let’s be patient. Let’s do this for each other.
