PITTSBURGH, PA — Could the Steelers games Sunday against the lowly Jacksonville Jaguars be the "trap" game that fans have feared as the team has pounded its way to a 9-0 record, the best start in Steelers history?

Coach Mike Tomlin emphatically denied that possibility this week, insisting that his team would take the 1-8 Jaguars seriously. It should. The Jags nearly beat the 7-2 Green Bay Packers last week before falling 24-20.

The Steelers also will be on the road against a team that has given them difficulties in the past. Jacksonville has an all-time record of 14-12 against the Steelers.

So while the oddsmakers are calling for a blowout, the Steelers should not overlook the Jaguars. The team needs to stay focused on Sunday's game and not look ahead to its upcoming Thanksgiving night matchup against the division rival Baltimore Ravens.
