PITTSBURGH, PA - There certainly is no shortage of interesting questions surrounding Sunday's game between the Steelers and the New York Jets. How will the Steelers respond after Sunday's disappointing home loss to the Buffalo Bills? Can quarterback Duck Hodges bounce back after a performance that charitably can be called disastrous? How will former Steelers star running back Le'Veon Bell fare in his first outing against his old team?

Despite the loss to the Bills, the Steelers remain in the driver's seat for the second AFC wild card playoff spot with an 8-6 record. That could change with a second consecutive loss. The Steelers should be motivated, while the Jets might not be as they sport a 5-9 record and have nothing to play for but pride.

But there are few sure things in the NFL and the Steelers have a history of losing to inferior opponents. If history repeats itself Sunday, the team could find itself on the outside looking in when it comes to a playoff spot.
