Steelers-Patriots, NFL Week 2: What You Need To Know

The Steelers will be playing without one of the NFL's premier defensive players, T.J. Watt, for at least the next four weeks.

PITTSBURGH, PA — With superstar linebacker T.J. Watt out of the lineup with a pectoral injury for at least four weeks, the Steelers are a much less effective defensive team.

Watt was placed on injured reserve and ESPN reported the team expects he is out for six weeks. The oft-injured NFL defensive player of the year in 2021 could not make it out of the team's season opener against the Cincinnati Bengals without getting injured .
