Steelers' Playoff Odds: Here Are Team's Chances In Final Week

PITTSBURGH, PA — The Steelers kept their playoff hopes alive with their 26-14 victory over the Cleveland Browns on Monday, but those hopes still remain on life support.

Seven teams are battling for three playoff berths as the season's final week is arriving. According to ESPN, the Steelers' chances of capturing one of those berths is 8 percent - up from 3 percent before the win against the Browns but sill an extremely unenviable position to be in.

The Steelers need the following events to occur to reel in an AFC wild card spot:

• The 8-7-1 team needs to go to Baltimore and defeat the hated rival Ravens (8-8), who would like nothing better than to put the final nail in Ben Roethlisberger's career casket.

• The lowly Jacksonville Jaguars (2-14) have to beat the Indianapolis Colts (9-7 and vying for a wild card spot themselves.

• The game between the Las Vegas Raiders (9-7) and Los Angeles Chargers (9-7) can't end in a tie.

It's unlikely all of those things will occur, but if they do Roethlisberger gets at least one more game before his storied career ends.
