Steelers Roethlisberger, 3 Others Placed On COVID-19 Reserve List

PITTSBURGH, PA — Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and three other players were placed on the Reserve-COVID-19 list Tuesday, the team announced.

In addition to Roethlisberger, offensive lineman Jerald Hawkins, running back Jaylen Samuels and linebacker Vince Williams were placed on the list. All will be isolated for five days and are not permitted in the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex, the team's South Side practice facility.

The players will need to pass COVID-19 tests throughout the week before they before they are potentially eligible to play against the Bengals. The players are permitted to take part in virtual meetings.
