Steelers Schedule Changes: Here Are The Latest Game Dates & Times
COVID-19 is wreaking havoc with the Steelers schedule.
PITTSBURGH, PA — Nearly a week after the game originally was scheduled to be played, it appears the Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens finally will clash at Heinz Field on Wednesday. But a Christmas tree lighting will prevent the game from being played in prime time.
NBC already committed to airing the tree lighting ceremony at Rockefeller Center in New York City on Wednesday night. So the Steelers will play their first Wednesday game in franchise history with a 3:40 p.m. kickoff.
Originally scheduled to be played on Thanksgiving night, the game has been postponed three times because the Ravens have been dealing with a coronavirus outbreak. The prolonged delay benefits Baltimore, as its two top running backs - J.K. Dobbins and Mark Ingram - can be activated from the COVID-19 restricted list and play on Wednesday. Still, the Ravens will be without the NFL's reigning MVP, quarterback Lamar Jackson, and about 10 other players.

The Steelers, meanwhile, will be without starting running back James Connor and defensive lineman Stephon Tuitt. Both are on the COVID-19 restricted list.
The Steelers and Ravens playing on Wednesday means the Steelers and the Washington Football Team won't play on Sunday as originally scheduled. The game has been moved to Monday at 5 p.m., meaning the Steelers will have to play the game just four days after battling the Ravens. The Football Team, who played its scheduled game on Thanksgiving against the Dallas Cowboys, will be playing on 10 days rest.
