Super Bowl LIV To Have Numerous Pittsburgh Connections
Plenty of names familiar to Pittsburghers will play in the big game between the Kansas City Chief and San Francisco 49ers.

PITTSBURGH, PA - The Steelers didn't even sniff the playoffs this past season, but that doesn't mean there aren't any Pittsburgh ties to Super Bowl LIV, which will feature the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers on Feb. 2.
Locals will recognize a number of names during the game who are either from Pittsburgh or played for either the Steelers, the University of Pittsburgh or Penn State (which has more than 50,000 alumni in southwestern Pennsylvania, according to the university's alumni association).
Here's a look at the connections on both teams.
