Two Steelers Among Pro Football Hall Of Fame Finalists

Will this be the year that yet another Steeler will be enshrined in Canton?

PITTSBURGH, PA - Former Steelers safety Troy Polamalu and former offensive guard Alan Faneca are among 15 finalists for this year's Pro Football Hall of Fame selections. Polamalu is in his first year of eligibility, while Faneca is in his third.

The only other first-time eligible finalist is former Indianapolis Colts wide receiver Reggie Wayne.

Other finalists include wide receiver Torry Holt, defensive tackle Bryant Young, linebacker Zach Thomas, safety Leroy Butler, linebacker Sam Mills, defensive tackle Richard Seymour, guard Steve Hutchinson, running back Edgerrin James, wide receiver Issac Bruce, safety John Lynch, offensive tackle Tony Boselli, and safety Steve Atwater.

Five of the 15 finalists will be chosen for enshrinement on "Selection Saturday," on Feb. 1 - the day before Super Bowl LIV.
