The Waterfront Welcomes New Fast-Casual Restaurant

HOMESTEAD, PA — A long-vacant restaurant space at The Waterfront has been filled. Chipoltle has opened in the space formerly occupied by Steak 'n Shake.

Located near the Holiday Inn Express and Lowe's, the eatery features the brand's signature "Chipotlane," a drive-thru pickup lane that allows customers to pick up digital orders without leaving their cars.

The Steak 'n Shake closed in 2020, briefly reopened in 2021 and then shut down permanently.Chipolte joins McDonald's and Chick-fil-A as restaurants along East Waterfront Drive.

Chipolte's other Pittsburgh locations include Allison Park, Bridgeville, Canonsburg, Coraopolis, Cranberry, East Liberty, Monroeville, Murrysville and Wexford.
