Where To Watch The 2022 FIFA World Cup In Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH, PA – Are you ready for some football? No, not that football — soccer! The 2022 FIFA World Cup begins Sunday in Qatar, and the U.S. men’s team is in the field.

Perhaps you want to catch a game or two over a pint or a hot meal? There are plenty of places in Pittsburgh to watch, including:

• City Works Eatery & Pour House, Market Square: This place has 15 extra-large HDTVs with state-of-the-art audio; 90 craft beers, including 30 from local breweries, and eight wines on tap. There's also 11,200 square feet of indoor dining and viewing potential.

• Bigham Tavern, Bigham Street, Mt. Washington: While you're watching the match, peruse the menu and choose from among 30 varieties of this esteemed bar's award-winning wings.

The 2022 Men's World Cup is the first rendition of the tournament ever to not be held in May, June, or July. The decision to play the tournament in November and December was to avoid the intense heat that comes with summer in Qatar.

It is also the first time the World Cup has been hosted in the Middle East. A total of 32 teams are heading to Qatar to compete. All the games will take place between 5 a.m. and 2 p.m. EST.

All of the matches will be televised on either FOX or Fox Sports 1 (FS1) in English as well as in Spanish on Telemundo. You can also stream games on Peacock, Fubo, SlingTV, and Vidgo.
