On Saturday, November 2, 2013 10 more trees were planted along parts of East Railroad Street, South and Center avenues. The planting was done under the supervision of TreeVitalize who dug the holes, provided the soil and mulch and trees.  Volunteers added their muscle, released the roots, planted, top coated with mulch, and watered the trees.
Volunteers who helped were: Bridget Seery, who organized the whole tree planting project, Robert Geiselhart, Luke Mattocks, Patti Tumminello, Don and Rhoda Worf, Heather Hogate, Denise Gemellas, Kevin Ewing, Ralph and Bonnie Myers Toward, Sara Rae, Janet LoAlbo, Mike Forbeck. Guidance was provided from Jeff Bergman from TreeVitalize and Johnathan Kuhfuss and Mike Koch from Western PA Conservancy.
