About 8,400 Duquesne Light Customers Without Power
Here's an update from Duquesne Light spokesman Joey Vallarian.

This afternoon's round of severe weather—the second wave today—has resulted in some Duquesne Light customers seeing service disruptions. As of 5 p.m., there are approximately 8,400 customers out of service, according to a press release from Duquesne Light.
Currently, the areas hardest hit by the storm are in the eastern parts of the city and the eastern suburbs.
Duquesne Light crews are in the process of restoring power by removing trees and repairing downed wires. Downed wires are a safety hazard and should be avoided. They pose the danger of electrical shock and injury. Residents are advised to not drive over or go near downed wires.
