And the Winner of Readers' Choice for Best Ice Cream Goes To....

Congratulations to in Oakmont for winning the Readers' Choice award for best ice cream in the Plum-Oakmont area.

Earlier this week, we asked you to nominate your favorite place to get a cold treat over the summer. You nominated Brr-Kees and Sinfully Sweet in Plum.

It was a very close race with no definite leader at any point, and both places received tons of nominations and votes in our poll and comments sections, but in the end, Brr-Kees came out on top.

As of this morning, Saturday, Brr-Kees received 62 percent of the vote (108 votes) in our poll. Sinfully Sweet received 37 percent (65 votes) and almost 20 nominations/comments.

Brr-Kees will receive a Patch certificate stating that our readers love their ice cream.
