Get out your long pants, boots or sturdy shoes, and dress for some hard labor and the weather….planting will take place rain or shine.
As many of you may remember the Verona area community came together last Spring and planted 17 trees along Allegheny River Blvd. (see pictures). All summer long the rain and loyal citizens kept the trees watered. As a result they are doing well.
TreeVitalize will be donating more trees for the rest of the block and you are invited to come help plant more trees to help beautify and improve the neighborhood. TreeVitalize will also be prepping each new tree site so all that is needed is to place the tree in the hole and cover it with dirt/soil.

The Tree Planting will be held Saturday, November 2 at 9 am. Planters will meet at the Verona Borough building located at 736 East Railroad Avenue. To register for the event: http://www.paconserve.org/300.  If you have questions or wish to preregister, please call Bridget Seery at 724-977-8374.
