The mural on the steps leading from the War Memorials to North Avenue is complete. Â
Karen Davidson, Riverview Art Teacher lead and directed Riverview art students to design and paint the mural. Now it was time to repair and refresh our salute to all veterans.  Ms Davidson's art students, who tackled this project were: Lavinia Falck, Rose Spinola, Ben Strassner, Dan King, Kelly O'Donnell, and Matt O'Donnell.Â
The goal was to finish it in time for the Memorial Day Parade this Monday, May 26  The band will step off at 9:30 am in Verona and march to Verona's cannon where there will be a 21 gun salute. While you are there be sure to check out the repainted mural
