Attempting Vegetarian: Likes and Dislikes

Trying new vegetarian can be scary. Here, I share few adventures in the kitchen that I've liked and one in particular that I did not enjoy.

I have tried new ingredients - swiss chard, tempeh, beets, to name a few.

I have liked the majority of the recipes I've tried. There have only been a few items that I've not been ga-ga over.

One in particular.

I tried tempeh twice.

Once marinated for hours.

Once pre-marinated.

No dice for either variety.

Nope. Not even one bit.

What did I like? BEETS. Who knew? (Now how do I clean the beet ink off my hands???)
