Um….hello! Earth to Erin!! You LOVE Target for all those random things you don’t need but buy anyway. What about for food!?
I went to a different Target than I usually go to on Monday and discovered Target has FOOD! A lot of food for less than I purchase elsewhere ! Also, I got a Target Red Card and get an additional 5 percent off my purchases. Weeeee! (Don’t tell my husband!)

What did I buy?
- Chobani yogurt: I usually buy this at Sam’s Club, however, blueberry is in the pack. I’m the only one who eats it, and I’m getting a little sick of it. At Sam’s they’re 91 cents a piece (and come in a pack of 12). At Target, I got the flavors we actually wanted for 95 cents each. I’ll pay 4 cents more to get the flavors we like. I’m cool with that.
- Lunch Meat: I ALWAYS get Applegate Farms lunch meat at Trader Joe’s for $3.99 a package. At Target, I got several packages of Hormel Natural Choice deli meats for $2.41 a package. No, not organic, but still no preservatives, MSG, or nitrates. I’ll take it!
It was a short trip, and I had no list. I just picked up somethings we needed. I fully expect to return this weekend with my shopping list and price lists and check out the organic milk, cereal, eggs, and other items we usually get elsewhere.

{That’s the benefit of having prices lists! I know what everything I usually buy costs at other places and where it’s the cheapest. So, when I’m somewhere different, it’s easy to compare.}
