How homes are marketed today

Today, homes are being marketed through online stores.

I would like to explain to you how homes are marketed today.  One way is through For Sales Signs.  That is the traditional method and is still
effective, but not alone.  If you see a company with a lot of For Sales signs that should be a red flag to you.  That means they are not selling their
inventory.

Today, homes are being marketed through online stores.  Picture for a minute all the cars parked at the Monroeville Mall.  They represent your buyer pool.  The stores in the mall represent the online real estate stores.  Realtor.com, Trulia, Zillow, Yahoo, AOL, MSN, Hotpads.com, HGTV and Homes.com and of course the brokers sites, like our Coldwell Banker.com and Pittsburghmoves.com.

Designers place their clothing in several of the stores in the Mall.  It becomes VERY important to the designer how each store displays their brand.

When those buyers get out of their cars, each store is hoping they come into their shop and each designer wants the buyers to stop at their racks and tables first.  Most buyers will not walk to the back of the store unless they are looking for
clearance items.

My company understands that it is the same with houses.  We need to place our listings upfront in each store.  We need to display them better than our competitors, so that our inventory sells first.  Do you want your house to be upfront in ALL of the major online real estate stores OR just upfront in two or three of them and in the back with the clearance items on the rest?

Before you list with a Broker, check out all the online stores, not just the broker's website.  The paid spots (featured ones) come up on the first few pages.  Look to see whose logo comes up. Coldwell Banker is the only Company I know of who has paid for featured spots on ALL of those websites because we understand marketing is more than signs in a yard and just being ON the Internet.  We need to place our sellers in front of more buyers so you have the best chance to sell first.  Does that make sense to you?

If it does, call me when you want to sell your property.  I can recommend someone on my team to help you.
