Tree Planting in Verona

As part of the business district revitalization a grant from Treevitalize was obtained for new trees along the boulevard and Saturday was the day to plant them. Fortunately there was perfect weather – brisk, but not cold and sunny.  A great team of folks turned up to help with this project and all 17 trees were planted. 

When the trees begin to grow, hopefully drivers will slow down and walkers will pause to enjoy the variety of species planted.  Many thanks to Treevitalize who sponsored, paid for, and helped get Verona’s revitalization start with a flourish.

There were even some folks who came and cleaned up the bouldevard of junk that people throw in the streets and from their cars.  Thanks to them and Let's keep Verona clean!
