District Court: Zucco Hears DUI & Drug Cases
These cases went before Plum District Magistrate Linda Zucco last week.

Plum District Justice Linda Zucco heard the following cases on March 27:
Charges of aggravated assault, terroristic threats, harassment and disorderly conduct against Micah Spencer, 31, of Oakmont, were withdrawn. Oakmont police had filed the charges after a March 13 incident along Hulton Road.
Ritchie Delvon Benjamin, 21, of Penn Hills waived a preliminary hearing on charges of possession of marijuana, driving without a license, careless driving, no rear lights, no use of low beams and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance. Plum police filed the charges after an Oct. 19, 2012 incident on Unity Center Road.
Christopher Fdiek Ibrahim, 27, of Penn Hills waived a preliminary hearing on charges of driving on the wrong side of the road, failure to drive on a road laned for traffic, following too closely and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance. Plum police filed the charges after a Nov. 18, 2012, incident on the 800 block of Hulton Road.
Donald Ray Cyphert, 32, of DuBois waived a preliminary hearing on two counts to driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance. A charge of endangering the welfare of children was withdrawn. Plum police filed the charges after a Jan. 1 incident on Coxcomb Hill Road.
Jessica Marie Burns, 25, of Greensburg waived a preliminary hearing on charges of driving without a license, driving with a suspended license, disregarding a traffic lane, careless driving and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance. Plum police filed the charges after a Jan. 5 incident on Saltsburg Road.
Marija Elizabeth Freedline, 24, of Pittsburgh waived a preliminary hearing on charges of drivers required to be licensed, driving on the wrong side of the road, failure to stop at a stop sign, careless driving and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance. Plum police filed the charges after a Jan. 6 incident on Center Road.
Kate Lynn Wright, 36, of Plum waived a preliminary hearing on charges of disregarding a traffic lane, careless driving and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance. Plum police filed the charges after a Jan. 8 incident on Route 286.
Douglas Robert Currie, 48, of Plum waived a preliminary hearing on charges of drivers required to be licensed, driving on the wrong side of the road, careless driving and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol. Plum police filed the charges after a Jan. 9 incident on Davidson Road.
Melissa Maria Patalsky, 26, of Turtle Creek waived a preliminary hearing on charges of speeding and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance. Plum police filed the charges after a Jan. 20 accident on Old Leechburg Road.
Brandon Michael Becker, 22, of New Kensington waived a preliminary hearing on charges of manufacture, deliver or possess a controlled substance with intent; intent to possess a controlled substance; operation of a vehicle without valid inspection; improper sunscreening; and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia. Plum police filed the charges on March 22 after a traffic stop on Milltown Road.

Dylan Lovitt Henderson, 21, of Plum waived a preliminary hearing on charges of registration and certificate of title required, speeding, lighting requirements, failure to wear a seat belt, operating a vehicle without official certificate and two counts of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance. Plum police filed the charges after a Dec. 2, 2012, incident on Saltsburg Road.

Brandon Noel, 26, of Penn Hills was held for court on two counts of receiving stolen property. Verona police filed the charges against him on March 13. He is accused of stealing items from unlocked cars throughout the borough.
