District Court: Zucco Hears Fraud & DUI Cases
Here are the Sept. 12 district court rulings for Plum-Oakmont.

Plum District Justice Linda Zucco heard the following cases on Sept. 12:
- Vanessa M. DuVall, 37, of Plum waived a preliminary hearing on charges of theft and access device fraud. DuVall is accused of embezzling $10,000 from the Riverview Community Action Corp. in Oakmont. The Allegheny County District Attorney's office filed the charges Aug. 29 after a year-long investigation.
- Sarah Margret Schultheis, 31, of Penn Hills waived a preliminary hearing on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol or a controlled substance, accidents involving personnel injury, driving on the wrong side of the road, careless driving and immediate notice of accident to police. Oakmont police filed the charges after a July 15 traffic stop. According to police, Schultheis had been involved in a hit-and-run accident in Harmarville before Oakmont police pulled her over.
