Join the second-annual picnic at Penn Forest Natural Burial Park! 

Activities:

11 a.m.—Guests arrive and picnic lunch

12:15 p.m.—The Birds of Penn Forest by Jeff Giles

12:30 p.m.—Q & A with owners Pete and Nancy

1 p.m.—Wildflower Tour

1:30 p.m.—Native Species Tour

2 p.m.—Presence, Past, and Future: the magic of drawing trees: Join artist Maritza Mosquera as she takes you in a drawing journey of trees.                             

General tours will begin at 12:30 and continue every half hour.

What to bring:

• Chairs and/or blanket to sit on
• Hiking footwear if you plan to tour
• Camera to participate in the photo contest (contest details here)
• BYO Picnic (Penn Forest will provide minimal items, see below)

Additional Details

Penn Forest will provide hot dogs, buns, and related toppings for hot dogs, napkins, plates, cups, water and lemonade.  Please bring any additional items you might want for a picnic for yourself.

If you plan to purchase a cemetery lot(s) during your visit, please schedule a private meeting with Pete before or after the picnic.
