Riverview Relay for Life 2012 Kick-Off RallyÂ
A kick-off rally will be held at Riverside Landing, 12 Washington Ave in Oakmont on Nov. 2 from 7 - 8:30 p.m. Those who attend will get a sneak peak at the plans for the 2012 Riverview Relay for Life scheduled for May 19 and 20 at Riverside Park in Oakmont.
There will be raffles, give-aways, food and fun.
Riverview Relay for Life is a 24-hour fundraising event for the American Cancer Society that includes team activities, live music, food concessions, raffles and games while team members take turns walking or running around the track. Â
Attendees can begin registering teams with a $100 commitment fee and receive a gift. They also will listen to inspirational speakers and learn about American Cancer Society programs and services.
