The is starting its new series, “From Page to Screen,” in which the library will show movies inspired by favorite books and lead a discussion to compare and contrast book vs. film.
The first discussion will be based on the best-selling book by Sara Gruen, "Water for Elephants." On Monday, Feb. 6 at 6:30 p.m. the library will show the film, starring Robert Pattinson as a young veterinary student who joins a traveling circus in the 1930s and bonds with one of its star performers—played by Reese Witherspoon—over a very special elephant.
A discussion about the book and movie will be on Feb. 20 at 6:30 p.m.
