As of January 3, 2014, Verona Mayor David Ricupero, head of emergency management, has opened the Verona Borough Building for anyone that may have problems with their furnace, a power outage, etc. Â The Verona Borough Building will be open due to the extreme cold weather until folks are able to make arrangements with family, or the Red Cross. Â This will be in effect until next week.
