How Low Will They Go? Why Experts Predict Plum-Oakmont Gas Prices Will Drop Even More

The summer driving season is just around the corner, a time when Plum-Oakmont drivers brace for more pain at the pump.

But maybe not this year.

Retail gas prices have dropped steadily since the end of February because more refineries have come back on line after routine maintenance, and crude oil prices have moved sharply lower, reports the AAA .

Analysts predict prices could fall another 20 cents a gallon during the next two months because of lower-than-expected demand in the world's two largest economies, the United States and China.

According to GasBuddy.com, these five stations are offering the lowest prices:

1. Kwik Fill in Oakmont ($3.46/gallon)
2. Sunoco in Oakmont ($3.46/gallon)
3. Sunoco in Plum ($3.49/gallon)
4. Sheetz on Route 286 in Plum ($3.55/gallon)
5. Exxon on Route 286 in Plum ($3.55/gallon)
