Local Student Achievements at College

Several local students accomplished many honors this summer. Here's a look at some of them:

PSU-Erie

Stephen Galdo of Plum has been selected as a resident assistant for the 2012-13 school year at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College. He will supervise Niagara Hall. Galdo, a junior, is studying business.

Clarion University

The following area students received degrees from Clarion University of Pennsylvania:

Mark Liberto of Oakmont received a BA History.

Jessica Meising of Oakmont received a BSED Elementary Education.

Caitlin Valentich of Plum received a BA English.

Curtis Blauch of Plum received a BSED Secondary Education, Mathematics.

Mercyhurst University

Megan Marchese of Plum was a member of the Class of 2012 and received a BA degree in Art Therapy.

Geneva College

The following students recently graduated from Geneva College:

Richard Humes of Plum received a BS degree in Chemistry.

Sarah Wilson of Plum received a BA degree in Writing.

Clark University

Angelica R. Surra of Oakmont has been named to second honors on the Clark University Dean's List. This selection marks outstanding academic achievement during the Spring 2012 semester.
