Musical Season: Schools Present 'Seussical' & 'Annie'

Spring musical season is upon us. Here's a look at the show Plum and Riverview are performing in!

Young performers at Plum and Riverview high schools once again are preparing for spring musical season.

Here's a look at what you can expect from these local students, when to catch them on the stage and how to buy tickets.

Riverview High School

Riverview High School students will be performing "Annie" on April 5, 6, 12 and 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the Tenth Street Elementary auditorium. There will be a 2 p.m. performance on April 7.

The musical is based upon the popular Harold Gray comic strip Little Orphan Annie.

Tickets will go on sale on March 11 at the Tenth Street School lobby. They will be available Monday through Thursday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The cost is $10 for adults and $8 for children, students and seniors. 

Plum High School

Plum High School students will be performing "Seussical" on April 11, 12 and 13 at 7 p.m. at the high school auditorium. "Seussical" is a musical revolving around some of Dr. Seuss' characters and is a show the entire family can enjoy.

Tickets cost $10 and must be purchased during box office hours. No tickets will be held at Will Call.

Box office hours are: March 20 and 21 from 2:30 to 5 p.m.; April 2 from 8:15 to 9 a.m.; April 3 and 4 from 2:30 to 5 p.m.; April 8 and 9 from 2:30 to 5 p.m.; and April 10 from 8:15 to 9 a.m.
